Research Statement
The Colloidal Systems Chemistry group, led by Marek Grzelczak, began research activities at Donostia International Physics Center in Donostia - San Sebastian in September 2017. In March 2020, the group relocated to an adjacent research institute, Centro de Fisica de Materiales. Currently, we focus on developing colloidal nanosystems with innovative optical properties. Specifically, we are interested in precision nanochemistry through lab automation and the use of high-quality nanocrystals to develop stimuli-responsive nanosystems for plasmonic catalysis and neuroplasmonics.
